Samantha When the cord gets cut, it doesn’t get cut all the way at the stomach…there’s a little stump that falls off after a few days.
It’s meant to be cut like that, everyone has a little stump of cord left, which falls off after a few weeks. It’s a natural process, and some just end up outie when this happens. Nothing to do with hernias, or any problems
