Context is important, Jade. If someone on the street asks me what time it is, I assume they don’t know and of course I’d give them the correct time in that location. But many of these threads are just for fun. Does counting by Roman numerals have a purpose? Of course not. I was just having fun with citing the time in an obscure country I spent 45 minutes in. I find pleasure in the simple things. I’m sorry you took it so seriously.
I’m not sure what you mean about calling out the other person. I’m all for getting rid of people who are predators or sexually inappropriate. I’ve called people out myself on other forums.
I was not at all offended by the question, but given that you and I haven’t engaged in casual banter before, and given your claim of a ‘discrepancy,’ as though it was the sign of something nefarious, your question didn’t come off as a casual inquiry, in the form of wanting to have a pleasant conversation with me.
