I came on here cuz idk what to do.(BTW HE IS MY FIRST EVER CRUSH IN MY WHOLE LIFE AND I DONT EVEN KNOW WHAT TO DO) but lemme continue, so basically he is really FRIENDLY and the first time we ever met he was so nice to me but i didnt think too much of it, then he came to me after school and he had the option to call for his ride but since my ride was coming pretty late he stayed and we talked until i got picked up, but at the end of that conversation, he asked me “ I have a question, Can we be friends? ” then he goes to explain why he wants to be friends because of how i’m not like other girls. I was chill about it cuz its the first time we had talked. But tbh no one has officially asked to be friends to me, it kinda just happens. i didnt think too much of it. I DONT HAVE HIM IN ANY OF MY CLASSES because I am in 11th and he’s in 10th (HE’S OLDER, I JUST SKIPPED A GRADE) and by coincidence, i run into him where he eats brunch from and we start hanging out even at lunch together. HE HAS A LOTTTTT OF FRIENDS FEMALE AND MALE! But he always makes it so comfortble cuz I dont feel like a burden to him.
FAST FORWARD: in three months, he asks me do u have a best-friend?? and i go" no i’ve never had one" and he again OFFICIALLY asks me to be his best-friend. idk, i just find it cute how he makes everything official but timely. and i realized i liked him but I can’t tell the difference between if he’s genuinely being friendly or he’s actually wanting something with me . he’s carried my backpack before, he’s given me his jacket before, we’ve been under one small umbrella before, he’s slept on my shoulder before, and all these stuff ARE DONE BY COUPLESSSSSSS. and whenever one of his friends goes " oh are u and ur gf coming "he doesn’t say anything about the fact that they just said i’m his gf. he just moves on with the topic which makes it look like i am his gf ya know???
it gets me soooo confused.
I tried asking my friends and one of them said that what if he’s one of those guys that just think ur dating without making it official?? but again if he first asked for being friends, and also asked for being best-friends, wouldn’t he ask for dating????

another part is honestly my thoughts. for context, He’s Asian, I’m black, And we all know most asian guys don’t normally go for black girls or any other race but asians. (I’M NOT TRYNNA BE RACIST😭) BUT ATLEAST ITS THAT WAY OVER HERE.
so what if he’s genuinely not wanting anything. what if were genuinely just best-friends, don’t get me wrong i wouldn’t mind just being best-friends. but its all so confusing to be honest.
