Hi teens:
Hope this post is okay. I’m Pete (NOT a teen) who is writing a screenplay with Alexa and Brianna, who are both 18 years old. At one point, Angie needs to say to Beth “You’re a coward” or “You’re a big chicken” or “You’re such a scaredy-cat” or “You’re scared for no good reason.” But I hate all those options. None sound like authentic teenspeak.
If these characters were guys, Alex might tell Brian, “Dude, you’re a big p*ssy” or “Broh, get some balls” or something crude like that. But I doubt Alexa would say those things to Brianna. I’m hoping to find a phrase or slang that is edgy and maybe a little offensive.
