When did you first start getting facial hair and shaving?

I’ve seen a few questions about hair, but it’s all…lower hair. Lol. I’m wondering about facial hair. I’m 15 and I really just still have fuzz. Some guys I know are already shaving, at least somewhat. Not that I care, having facial hair sounds annoying, but I’m just wondering what age most guys are when they get it or have to start shaving. I haven’t had the shaving lesson from my dad yet–it’s just too early.

At 15 I had no hair, just the “fuzz” like you. I know I was later than most guys, but I was 17 almost 18 before I really had to start shaving all the time. Just after 17, started the twice-a-month routine and it graddually become more. Even now at 19, it takes a few days to get ‘scruffy’

I started getting the fuzz on the lips shortly after turning 15, i started to shave the fuzz off , maybe 4 months later and still continue to shave daily , just turn 16, not sure if i left it alone if it would grow thicker and darker, but i like the feel of a smoothe face

Thanks guys. I’m probably a bit of a late bloomer, with the way things have been going. At least later than some of my friends. I’m not in a rush though 😁

I’m a college graduate and still have little to shave. 😛 I really did not have any noticeable facial hair until college and what I do have is not much. That is admittedly a less common situation, but not unheard of. At 15, many guys will not be able to tell exactly how it will play out. My brother has a decent amount of facial hair now in his mid-20s, but at 15 he was like me, with essentially nothing. Mid-to-late teens is when most guys will start shaving. They may do it infrequently at first and have to do it more as they get older.

No shaving or even fuzz for me and I’ll be 17 next week! I started later than most as well, but I’m not overly hairy to begin with.
