Edits in posts

Is there a way to edit a post after you post it? Sometimes I type poorly or I realize afterward that I translated a word incorrectly into English, usually the next day when I read the post again. But I can not find a way to change it.
I know the 3 dots on the right have an edit option. But once I log out and back in, those 3 dots disappear…. so no options.
Anyone can help?

Those 3 small dots will bring up “Edit”. Click on the Edir option and that will bring up the post you want to edit. Then make the changes to your post. After you make the changes then click on “Save Changes” which will appear at the bottom left side of your post. That should edit your post. The 3 dots always will disappear. If you wants to see if the changes were made you have to reopen your post..

Once I log out and back in, the 3 dots are no longer there. So I can only edit it immediately after making the post. I suppose I should double check my typing before posting.

Yes, once you log off completely and them log back it, you can’t edit your post. It’s best to check out (proof-read) your posts before saving them. That’s what I usually do.

Since English isn’t your native language I wouldn’t be too concerned about grammar and spelling in your posts. As long as it’s readable it’s fine. I don’t think anyone will disrespect you for grammar and spelling errors. If they do just ignore them. I have read your posts and your English is really good. I wish my Spanish was as good as your English!

I’m not sure about the logging out, I can’t edit them after a few minutes 😂

Really annoying when it times out 😠 and I can’t edit at all
