should i shave down there to improve the smell?

i’ve noticed that my underwear gets a really weird smell after wearing it for a day. is this a hygiene issue? does shaving down there help?

Sweat and other sources of moisture cling to hair and encourage bacterial growth, which is why hairier armpits are smellier for example

Also public lice hardly exist in first world countries and others since shaving and trimming became more popular

But i think if its kept clean on a daily basis there shouldnt be a problem cleanliness is the key

Make sure you wash down there every day.

Shaving is 100% optional and has nothing to do with the smell. If you do choose to have hair down there, I’d definitely shave areas that would show…like if you wear a thong, I’d shave areas that wouldn’t be covered.
