Hi, all. I just want to find out more about the changes we go through in our bodies and thoughts when we hit puberty.

Well…boys go through many changes, and girls go through other different changes. Do you have like a specific question in mind?

Well, tbh, BlackParadePixie, I have a pretty good idea of the physical changes that we go through. I’m really more curious about the changes in our thoughts and priorities that we go through. As a guy, I kinda understand my end of it but I don’t have a good grasp on what girls go through in their minds in puberty. Can you help?

Most girls go through quite a bit of emotional changes and things like that. Often times we can become moody and yes, sometimes irrational when we’re getting close to our period. Lots of girls have negative thoughts about themselves or their body changes. Or even their friends…puberty is a weird time. One day you can be best friends with someone, the next…you can hate them or just not want to be around them. But it doesn;t always stay that way. Hormones and puberty can wreak havok on our emotions. It’s just something we all deal with.

I think its a bit different for everyone because other than body changes I havent really changed that much compared to when I was younger or at least I dont think lol but some of my friends are way different now if I remember how they used to be before, and kinda like blackparadepixie said above some girls get really annoyed when its time for their period soon and act more aggressively but for others its not a big deal at all so I think its really random overall for people with only a basic kinda outline for everyone with what happens, puberty was never a big negative thing for me personally When I just read this back again I think this answer probably didnt help too much with what you wanted actually but oh well haha I hope its useful somehow

[unknown] As I said, take some Midol, curl up in bed with a pint of Haagen Daz and watch Netflix. Perhaps in a few days you’ll be better able to function in a respectable manner.
