I rlly want to go to a concert (lana del rey) by myself at wembley stadium, but my mum won’t let me. I desperately don’t want to go with my mum would pay for my own ticket.
I’m 16, highly independent, used to travelling alone however I’ve never done anything fun by myself because for some reason the line is drawn when it’s something I’ll actually enjoy… I could get a coach from the local bus station which would take me to and from Wembley and it’d be around a 2 hour ride which is fine, I take 2 hour train rides just to visit family by myself.
I would leave at 11am, be back by 10. I have travelled much later in the past and just got picked up from the station and it was fine. I really don’t see how this is so far from what I’m used to???
my mums argument is it’s too busy, and I’m more likely to be harmed in a busy environment but I’d be more worried if it wasn’t busy because I’d stand out more as an unaccompanied minor rather than a place where there would be lots of people around my age there. also there will be hardly any men, and I doubt in a full stadium full of women my age there won’t be someone I can ask to join if she’s right and some strange guy who payed to go to a concert just to prey on young girls actually bothers me
what do u guys think? also, I might ask my nan and if she says yes my mum will undoubtedly agree but I’ll need to get her on my side so what can I say to convince them?
