To answer your question, I do have a tip. You could join sporting clubs outside of school, do charity volunteering in shops, or attend group discussion that your local library may but hosting. BUT, what I would REALLY recommend is asking your parents to actually go to school. If the case is you feel like you have social anxiety, it will only get worse if you don’t go. Trust me, no-one will judge you! The golden rule is like if you are genuinely nice to people and really try to talk to them first, that’s really how easy it is to get friends, (except for the occasional douchebag but they prolly have rubbish friends too so just don’t let them affect you).
For the loneliness topic, I really get you. I used to get bullied and have kids kick litter bins at me and throw cutlery or pour water on me and I LITERALLY DID nothing cause I was super quiet n shy ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ in year 7, and even get physical a lot like pushed rlly and hit rlly hard, just cause this ONE kid named Emily thought she was ‘all that’ (SORRY THAT WAS A LOT OF VENT)
It’s been 4 years and I also have no friends, but I cope by doing swimming at least twice a week, tennis and baisically whatever clubs I find interesting
What you said about ‘Being sheltered’ is also relatable, like I have 0mins of screen time on my phone (except Whatsapp), my parents disabled Netflix and entertainment on the TV and YouTube is also disabled on the wifi, and I can only use my laptop for MAX 1 hour (including hw which is online). But it’s really worth it, cause I heard some people ACTUALLY waste like a shit ton of time on social media. Plus reading fact books is actually fun now, cause 3 years ago when I was a game addict it was so freaking tedious istg.
ANYWAYS, if you ever read this, please tell me if you feel any better now :0 -Kaito
