Netflix Show Adolescence

I didn’t really know where else to put this but felt it was best here. I was wondering what other teen’s thoughts were about the show and how it made you think and feel?

It brought on a lot of conversation in my house, particularly about bullying because my little step brother, who is 13 has been bullied and it resulted in two pretty significant fights and school, a suspension and an expulsion.

I thought it was a really well done series and am interested in what those of you who watched it thought about it.

How on earth is it possible that it is the guy who gets bullied that gets an expulsion ?

It is sobering. Schools must do much more when dealing with bullying.

i really liked it. More definetly needs to be done within schools and local areas. There is way to much knife crime in the uk.

Favianos Fighting is zero tolerance. This was his second fight this school year and the expelled him so he’s going to a private school now. I guess that’s the way it works here.

Did they not try to understand why he was in a fight ?

Favianos its zero tolerance. I guess they expect you to take what you get and walk away and report it, which we as kids know makes matters worse. It was his second fight since Christmas break. They suspended him the first time, and expelled him the second time. The other kid met the same fate.
