I’ve recently been tasked with sourcing GDA uniforms and hospital housekeeping uniforms for a mid-sized healthcare facility, and I could really use some expert guidance.
This is my first time handling uniforms for a cleaning crew, and I want to make sure I get it right, both from a hygiene and practicality standpoint. So far, I’ve shortlisted a few vendors like Lintex since they seem to specialize in healthcare-specific garments, including surgical gowns, scrubs & cleaning crew uniforms.
So, here are my key concerns:
Should GDA staff wear a GDA uniform, especially in high-risk zones like ICUs or operating theaters?
How important is color coding for GDAs or cleaning crew uniform?
Are there specific guidelines or hospital policies I should follow when choosing GDA uniforms for different departments? (actually, I’m pretty new to this industry!!!)
If you’ve had experience with Lintex or similar suppliers, please share your insights. Any input on sizing, delivery, or custom branding would be super helpful too.
