Honestly, where I’m from, dating is extremely scrutinized. Like everyone is extremely conservative on the topic of dating. My mother told me that if she finds out that I’ve got a boyfriend she’ll kick me out of the house, crazy right? My dad would most likely just beat me up if he found out. Despite the threats, I’ve had two exes haha. Both of them were shit. I feel extremely guilty when I do stuff behind my parents backs but they’ve done it too most likely. (Not mom, but dad most definitely has.) My friend also says that I’m turning into a “Playgirl”, like I’ve only dated two guys? (I’m flattered that she thinks I’m that attractive but I really don’t pull that much lol) She’s also told me that if I told her that I’ve lost my virginity she wouldn’t be surprised???? That’s the extent to what people think of dating in your teenage years lol. Still, I’m still deadset on finding my highschool sweetheart, (not happening anytime soon) but teenage boys in my school are so disgusting. So yeah, I’m gonna be single for a while ig. T_T
