It’s been a while since I last logged in here for various reasons. The first time I saw the link to the myteenhut site, I hesitated before signing up because there was something about it that struck me as odd. I signed up anyway, but I hardly ever posted. At one point, seeing all that spam here on TeenHut, I even thought that the people who created MyTeenHut were the ones responsible for posting it, because it’s so strange. At the time, based on what I’d read about the feud that supposedly happened between Miki—I think—and the admin here, the spam started getting posted. And the fact that the site was identical to this one, with different features—they had outright plagiarized it.
Those are red flags. If the site was removed, I think they might have gotten scared because, as I read in this thread, some people realized who they really were. I think their profile was indeed fake and that there were perverts hiding behind it. There’s a thread by a member there that made me uncomfortable. I don’t remember the name anymore. He started a thread where he wanted to invite members from the site My Teen Hut over for New Year’s Eve, I think. Personally, I found that very suspicious, and since we’ve had experience with teen sites, perverts are everywhere. You’ve only known each other online for a short time, and the person wants to invite members to their house. You have to be very careful because it doesn’t feel right.
Anyway, that’s just my personal take on it. And the Millenium forum, moderated by Bjade—I hadn’t heard of it before, but I clicked on the link a little while ago, and it’s not very active compared to what it used to be on other sites. Maybe people are just fed up with seeing perverts signing up and the problem never ending, even after they’ve been banned. And attitudes are changing; we’ve grown up. It’s just an idea, but even if there’s spam here, those who want to interact normally with others by creating topics—why not do it? It would show that, despite everything, activity on the forum continues. So yes, it’s not at all pleasant that the site is overrun with spam, but it would also show that it hasn’t been completely abandoned. Jus saying …
