I don’t think mine have ever completely disappeared, but they do pull up close and feels like at least part may be inside.

One time they pull up close is when getting close to cumming. The other is when cold, i.e. the scrotum helps regulating their temperature by becoming more wrinkled, and thus pulling them up closer to the body when cold, and becoming more smooth and letting them hang lower when hot.

But there is a medical condition known as Testicular Retraction that can affect boys and men.
