I’m not so certain it’s a case of not voting because the candidates suck. To me, that’s all the more reason to vote to prevent the one that you think sucks worse from getting in. The fact of the matter is, that politicians are bought and paid for by the lobbies and are influenced not by the constituents they represent, but by the gear greasers (the lobby). If the United States, and other countries really want to fix the problems and get back to representing the people, they need to stop this outside bribery and influence by such entities as big Pharma, Guns, what have you, and get back to doing what is right for the people. Trump in my opinion is a loose cannon who just speaks without thinking and Harris is just dumb. My whole problem with her, is that she was installed without the due process (whether right or wrong) by a party that doesn’t really represent my core values. That being said, the Republican Party doesn’t either. They are just too polar opposite for me with their crazy notions and (if you can call them) policies. Maybe if these political parties were not mostly influenced by the biggest mouths with the most money, then I could get behind them. I really think that neither cares about any of us regular folk. They all seem to funnel money out of the country like its going out of style (Middle East, Ukraine) and when shit hits the fan on the home front (hurricanes, homelessness, rampant public hard drug use, crazy out of control immigration) they do nothing!
So unfortunately, it is about lessor of two evils, but that’s what these pigs in Washington have presented us with. What really gets me, is the divisiveness and polarization that it’s causing in the country. I guess it’s divide and conquer the people. I say all of this as an outsider who lives in Canada, which is just as large of a shitshow cos the clown we have installed currently is completely atrocious as well!
