I’ve been in procurement since 2012, and since the dawn of my career, nothing has given me a bigger headache than sourcing staff uniforms. For our new property launch, I was on the hunt for reliable hospitality uniform manufacturers who could handle everything from front desk to F&B without breaking our budget.
My main challenge was finding decent chef coat suppliers. Our executive chef is extremely particular, and our last vendor’s coats fell apart after a few high-temp washes. The entire kitchen uniform line needed an upgrade, more durable, better fit, and something the staff wouldn’t hate wearing.
After vetting a dozen suppliers, we did a trial run with a company called Lintex. Honestly, I was impressed. The fabric quality on their chef coats is solid, and they have modern fits that our younger staff actually like. We also sourced housekeeping and front-of-house uniforms, and the brand consistency with our embroidered logo was spot-on.
Just wanted to share this here because I know how painful this sourcing category can be. They saved me a ton of hassle. If you’re looking for a vendor who gets the details right, they’re worth checking out.
Who are you guys using for your properties? Always looking to keep my vendor list updated.
