after_the_rain333 I’m writing a story for my younger sister and was wondering if anyone has some really good names. I like shorter names that are kind of out there but I want common ones too or I think it will be weird. For protagonists I have Eclipse Cordata, Keitaro Hayashi, and Jace Levi. I also want a French character that I’m thinking about naming Juliet (Jule for short) and someone who is Southwest Asian.

Vanessa9 after_the_rain333 If you want it to sound really French, write “Juliette” not “Juliet”. Other first names : Léa, Camille, Louise, Marie, Marion. Last names : Monnier, Durant, Dubois, Martin, Roux.

Codysutton Those are some really nice names already, they feel unique but still easy to read. For the French character, Juliet with Jule sounds perfect, maybe you could also try names like Elise or Amelie for a similar vibe. For a Southwest Asian character, names like Zayan or Amina could fit well. I also like mixing simple ideas with creative ones, sometimes I even get inspiration from things like cute island names when I’m stuck.
