KaraZor-El Well, to start, there’s a character called the “Sheep Man”, a guy in a sheep suit who speaks in sentences without spaces between the words. Murakami included an illustration of this character just in case we couldn’t picture him properly:
I’ve read most of Murakami’s novels by this point, though I hadn’t yet read some of the earlier ones (this is his third, out of fifteen). Interestingly, the story is mostly wrapped up by the end, which isn’t always the case in his later novels. Overall I liked it, despite its oddness.
