I figured it could be fun to hear how you know your better half. My bf was temporarily employed where I work. We got along well, kept in touch after he quit, and eventually went on a date, and here we are. 🙂

My boyfriend and I went to high school together, though we didn’t really talk to each other at the time. After breaking up with my previous boyfriend, after a while he heard I wasn’t doing too well (friend-of-a-friend connection) and he reached out to me and we started talking. We became friends first, then FWB (while still actually doing “friends” things), and we eventually made the relationship official

How do we know each other? Intimately. 😉 Okay i’ll give you more. We met at freshman orientation but took a good minute to even enter the friendship phase because I was so shy about even starting a conversation with her. 😊

I met him when he was an upperclassmen in one of the first upper div courses I took as a freshman. I got to know him in class, then realized we had a few mutual friends and started seeing him at parties. I didn’t actually begin dating him until last year, so I’d known him as a friend for a couple years before anything happened between us. That’s how I met my ex as well: knew her for a while before anything happened. I guess it’s difficult for me to picture meeting someone and then right away launching into a relationship. I seem to enter into a relationship with someone I already consider a friend (and maybe always had feelings for).

We met at a bar. I was at the “jukebox”, you know the modern ones connected to the internet? Anyways he approached me and said he liked the songs I was choosing. We saw each other a few times after that, had a few dates…and eventually we decided to do the relationship thang.

My boyfriend is friends with one of my girlfriends boyfriends so that is how I initially met him at a party we were both at that was at my GF’s boyfriends house. This was over a year ago in October of 2023 when I was a Junior in High School and he(my boyfriend) was a Senior at his high school. We started dating officially about a week after we actually met on October 13th, 2023.
