If your a boy are you uncut or cut. If uncut do you get a lot of stairs or do people think your dirty.

Well, when the boy is born, the skin is attached to the head. It doesn’t separate until right before the teen years, although the exact age varies depending on the kid. (One kid might have total separation by the 7th birthday and his friend might still be partially attached at age 11.5)

If it’s still attached at age 12 or so, it’s probably time for some medicine.

Samantha At least in Germany they talked about that stuff in school. That you should retract the skin in the shower and propperly clean it and if there’s problems retracting, we should talk to our parents and a doctor

What’s the story behind how you found out what you are? I mean, obviously you looked down and you were like: “That’s my foreskin!”

But, like, did you find out from health class that some guys got the skin removed? Did you hear about it and then Google it to find out which “team” you were on? Did you…eep…ask your parents and what did they say? Did you notice a friend looked different down there? (“Why isn’t Anthony’s pink at the end like mine is?”)

I learned at 6 years old my best friend was circumcised when we took a bath together. We didn’t say anything to each other but I did ask my mom about it later and she explained the difference.

I had heard of circumcision in connection with being Jewish while I was at primary school, so before 11. Probably that was from RE (Religious Education). I first saw a circumcised penis in secondary school - there were two boys in gym glass that were probably Jewish, or at least of Jewish parents - they didn’t seem to be particularly devout. Then it was from the Internet that I learned that circumcision for non-religious reasons is common in the USA.
