But the number of boys who go on to have phimosis is very small and, for those that do, not all of them need circumcision. For some, stretching and steroid cream are enough. Boys are at lower risk of UTIs that girls and, if they get one, we have antibiotics to get rid of it.
Basically, all the claimed health benefits are piffle and the reason it continues in the USA is for cultural reasons, including inertia, and because those doing the op make money from it.
