I’m uncut. I’ve never been judged for it. I’ve seen disparaging comments online, but there are disparaging comments about anything you could imagine online. No one I’ve met seems to care, and that’s how I prefer it.

It’s like tattoos or piercing. All have risks of infections and aren’t really necessary. But are aesthetic or have cultural significance to them.

I agree with Jade weather it’s cultural or religion all have risks for the baby. I also feel that anybody judges the parents has or hasn’t have their sons circumcised for cultural or religion or believes in health reasons is a jackass.i remember when my brother came home from the hospital when I was 11 years old and he was circumcised.

I feel like a lot of the arguments are more of an American thing. My parents are both from Europe, where it’s just not common outside of Jewish or Muslim communities. So they never really gave it a second thought.

HeyCameron From what I’ve noticed, a lot of the arguments are toward Americans, but from those outside the US.
You’re right about it not being as common elsewhere, outside of religious reasons. But for some reason, it became common in the US, which has very little Jewish and Muslim influence on societal practices.
