Ok so I’ve heard a lot of different things about the hymen… So girls, how big a deal was it the first time you had sex? Did you still have it your first time or how did you break it?

The hymen can break at anytime, it can break from exercise, using tampons, masturbation, so just because it’s broke doesn’t mean she isn’t a virgin

I think most guys haven’t seen a hymen because when they’re first with a girl a lot of the time she has already lost it one way or another plus they never see a hymen in porn obv. Girls should remember that guys are sometimes clueless to the female body. Girls definitely know more about the male body, but probably not as well as guys know about it.

I suspect most guys have done. I know when I got to puberty, part of that was becoming much more aware of my penis and examining it with renewed interest. To be fair, though, our bits are more visible, i.e. you don’t really need a mirror, though it is worth noting that you don’t get an accurate impression of penis size looking down on it.

From what I have heard the hymen is a thin membrane that covers the vaginal opening and as the girl grows the membrane can naturally dissolve or be broken/torn in several different ways including sexual penetration

it not so much the hymen being there or not, more being with a virgin. When boys talk about taking a girls cherry, it’s more the fact we are taking her virginity, rather than wanting to cause pain by breaking a girls hymen.
it;s a shame, but if a boy sleeps with 10 girls, hes a stud. if a girl sleeps with 10 boys she is a slut. that is not fair
if a boy and girl are considering sex for the first time (sadly im still waiting), it should be special and nice. breaking the hymen might not be the only sore thing if done wrong
